Set Expiry Alerts

When to use this

• You want advance notice before domains expire
• You manage domains across multiple registrars with inconsistent renewal emails
• You need to notify team members or clients about upcoming renewals
• You want to automate renewal workflows via webhooks

Steps

1. Open Alerts settings — Go to Settings → Alerts from the sidebar.

2. Enable global expiry alerts — Toggle on “Expiry alerts” to activate notifications for all domains by default.

3. Set default timing — Choose when you want to be notified:

   • 90 days — Early planning
   • 60 days — Review and budget
   • 30 days — Decision time
   • 14 days — Urgent reminder
   • 7 days — Final warning

4. Connect channels — Add at least one notification channel:

   • Email — Alerts sent to your account email
   • Slack — Connect via OAuth and select a channel
   • Discord — Add a webhook URL
   • Webhook — POST to your custom endpoint

5. Test delivery — Click “Send test alert” to verify your setup works.

6. Override per domain (optional) — On any domain’s detail page, change alert timing or disable alerts entirely.

For large portfolios, earlier alerts give you time to batch renewals and negotiate with registrars.
